Very exited to annouce my new single, "ALL THAT AND MORE" from my upcoming album, "TYPE J: UNLIMITED" (dropping february 20th)! This track came together very quickly and was one of the first ones I finished last year - featuring a simple amen break, 808s (no heartbreak), and vocal chops from one the greatest rnb songs ever recorded, "i wanna know" by joe. The "i wanna know" video is itself a masterpiece; the classic box set design and the intro is just so unbelievably silly. rnb videos just not doing fake rain like they used to... ** chef's kiss ** I mean even the way he just slides in after her man leaves is so insane and then the video of himself just flips to the TV in his bedroom! If you haven't listened to it... please do yourself a favor and listen to it RIGHT NOW.

ALL THAT AND MORE is my first music video, shot and edited by my good friend Kenneth White, filmed entirely on 8mm in my favorite part of LA, koreatown (with some extra shots on my handycam). The film scans were done by the very talented folks at The Negative Space. I couldn't be any happier with how it came out!

Originally I had planned for the single to come out a few weeks ago but I just could not get the mix to sound right. The master was clipping, the drums were too hot, and my body was not shaking. I took a whole weekend sitting down in front of abelton trying to get the master to sound JUST RIGHT. I wanted it to sound loud and crispy with just enough sway and movement with that lofi, rnb tape feel. More music and videos comin soon :)
