01.20.2026: some final touches and cleaning up the css styling for desktop and mobile.
01.25.2026: site is live!
Last year, I randomly remembered how back in like 2022, yaeji had this web app on her website where you could click these little stickers shapped like random household objects onto a canvas and drag your mouse around to create an image that you could save on your pc. I thought it was such a unique and clever way to use a website space. Nowadays, it's mostly just cluttered with temu ads and government-furnished clickbait. Social media killed the personal website for the most part. Everything feels like it's gotta make money to mean anything. I've always wanted to have my own website. I had some experience with coding in python from back in college, but that was more for math and statistics. After some weeks of messing around with HTML/CSS and stealing code from other websites, i had a pretty shit first draft. Nicotine and listening to shoegaze is good for coding. This website is sort of a creative excersize, a place to share some thoughts, and an online portfolio for my music.
The home page was developed using three.js, a very powerful javascript library that allows you to create web canvases and build interactive scenes with 3d models. Essentially, it emulates the need for speed underground 2 car selection screen; where scrolling through the cars would play a different track from my new album (2026). I wanted to recreate that feeling of playing NFS on xbox on a lazy saturday morning and listening to riders on the storm.
I have some other cool ideas to try out but i think i'll keep the home page as it is for at least a while. I'll continuously update this page with site updates.
